Simulated Surgical Systems
Founded in 2009, Simulated Surgical Systems, LLC is a pioneer in the development of simulation for robot-assisted surgery. Our goal is to provide safe, practical, and efficient robot-assisted surgery training to novice surgeons, thus reducing surgical error and making robot-assisted surgical education feasible.
The RoSS™ simulator is based on extensive research conducted with collaboration between the robotic surgery department at Roswell Park Cancer Institute (Buffalo, NY) and the virtual reality laboratory at the University of Buffalo. This team combines the experiences of over a thousand surgical procedures with virtual reality medical simulation technology.
